In 2006 PMET hosted Regional Conferences in New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and California.
Conference attendees were selected from a list of participants of prior PMET workshops and from the PI's for PMET mini-grants.
Participants were invited by email and selected on the basis of order of reply.

The NC meeting will follow a true conference model and will focus on "what worked," with the majority of time devoted to contributed paper sessions, panel discussions and birds-of-a-feather sessions. We will have three plenary talks, one each morning, and three technology sessions, one each afternoon. We hope to take the papers and submit a proceedings for possible publication through the MAA.
