Better suited to a course on numerical methods in linear algebra
Very detailed and thorough treatise on the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization process, its history, implementation, and applications. This is a high-level treatment, suitable for researchers and instructors, not students. Probably not very useful in a first course on linear algebra. Better suited to a course on numerical methods in linear algebra.
too bad it's not completely open, but still worthwhile
