Liaison Newsletter – September 2010

To the Liaisons:

First, THANK YOU for your work. As a Departmental Liaison to the MAA, you are our key contact to your department, and especially to your students and to your colleagues that are not in the MAA. We appreciate your work.

Second, we also appreciate that as a leader in your department, you have valuable expertise that we need to tap. The MAA needs your work and your input, so each year we have a special meeting just for you at the Joint Meetings. This coming year, the meetings are in New Orleans from January 6-9, 2011, and the DEPARTMENTAL LIAISONS MEETING is scheduled for Thursday morning, January 6 from 9:30-11:00. Please make the time to attend the meeting so that we can thank you personally and so that we can get information from you about how to improve the MAA.
