MAA Found Math: A composite of two photos taken by Andy Pepperdine who wrote: "In the World Heritage Site of the city of Bath, UK, there is a group of three blocks of houses set into a circle with three streets running into it. The whole area is known as the Circus. Built in the middle of the 1700s it has a number of curiosities. Around the whole circle just over the doors are a set of 528 friezes, each one individual, that represent the arts, sciences and trades of the day. Among them are several of interest to those with a technical bent, like this one of a hand holding compasses."
