Davide Cervone has been an Assistant Professor at Union College since the Fall of 1996. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brown University in 1993 under the direction of Thomas Banchoff. From 1993 to 1996, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Geometry Center. His interests center around polyhedral surfaces made from the fewest possible number of pieces, while still retaining certain self-intersection or other properties.
