As a non profit membership organization, the MAA relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, foundations, and associations to support our many programs that better serve our members and the math community at large.
Leaving a legacy makes it possible for the MAA to carry out its mission of advancing the mathematical sciences, especially at the collegiate level, and insures the continuation of programs that have made the MAA what it is today.
The society was formed in 2000 to recognize those individuals corporations, and foundations who have made the largest contributions to the Association. Their contributions make it possible for the MAA to achieve it's mission five core areas: education, research, professional development, public policy, and public appreciation.
Special funds have been established for special people who have touched the MAA and supported its mission through their actions and willingness to devote their time selflessly.
