This book concludes a set of three that cover the representation theory of associative algebras from the basics to the research level. The first volume was a general introduction to the three major techniques (quivers, Auslander-Reiten theory, tilting theory) used in the study of the representations of associative algebras. The second volume focused on indecomposable modules and hereditary algebras of Euclidean type. This third volume studies representation-infinite tilted algebras, tame and wild representation types in detail, and concludes with a summary chapter on selected recent results.

Gizem Karaali is assistant professor of mathematics at Pomona College.
