Cost: $32.00The first stop of this tour is Mark Twain’s historic Hartford home, where you will visit his personal library, his children’s rooms, and the famous Billiard Room where Twain worked on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Explore the Servants’ Wing, where a bustling staff kept up with the Clemens family’s busy schedule. Next, the Harriet Beecher Stowe portion of the tour includes her 1871 Gothic Revival Home, two exhibits about the author and her famous work Uncle Tom’s Cabin, and a showing of the Day House, a 1885 Victorian Mansion on the property.
