MAA MathFest will take place from Wednesday, August 5, 2015 to Saturday, August 8, 2015. Mathematical sessions will start Wednesday morning, followed by an evening of fun-filled events.

Location

MAA MathFest 2015 will be held in Washington, DC at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.

Transportation

The Washington Marriott Wardman park is located on the Red Line next to the Woodley Park/Adams Morgan Metro station. L2, L1, and DC 98 buses also stop close to the hotel. Airport Transportation

MAA will not be providing shuttle service for MAA MathFest 2015 in Washington.

From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): From the terminal, walk to the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Metro Station. Board a Yellow Line Metro train towards Mount Vernon Square. Stay on the train for six stops and depart at Gallery Place Chinatown. Transfer to a Red Line train towards Shady Grove. Stay on the train for four stops and depart at Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Exit the station and walk northwest on Connecticut Avenue NW towards Woodley Road NW. Turn left onto Woodley Rd NW. The Washington Marriott Wardman Park will be on your left.

From Dulles International Airport (IAD): Board the 5A Metro bus towards L'Enfant Plaza Station. Depart the bus at the Rosslyn Metro Station. Board a Blue Line Metro train towards Largo Town Center. Stay on the train for four stops and depart at Metro Center Metro Station. Transfer to a Red Line train towards Shady Grove. Stay on the train for four stops and depart at Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Exit the station and walk northwest on Connecticut Avenue NW towards Woodley Road NW. Turn left onto Woodley Rd NW. The Washington Marriott Wardman Park will be on your left.

From Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): MARC Trains provide service to the BWI Marshall Rail Station, where free shuttles serve the airport terminal. Shuttle stops are located on the lower level terminal roadway in between door numbers 1 & 2, 8 & 9, 14 & 15, and 17 & 18. Depart the shuttle at BWI Rail Station MARC. Board a MARC train towards Washington Local (Train 431). Take the MARC train to Union Station Washington. Walk to the Union Station Metro Station and board a Red Line Metro Train towards Shady Grove. Stay on the train for six stops and depart at Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Exit the station and walk northwest on Connecticut Avenue NW towards Woodley Road NW. Turn left onto Woodley Rd NW. The Washington Marriott Wardman Park will be on your left.

To Get to MAA Headquarters from the Washington Marriott Wardman Park:

Via Metro Train: Head east on Woodley Road NW toward Connecticut Avenue NW. Turn right on Connecticut Avenue NW and enter the Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Board a Red Line Metro train towards Glenmont. Stay on the train for two stops and depart at Dupont Circle Metro Station. Exit the station at the Q Street exit. Head east on Q St NW toward Connecticut Avenue NW. Turn right on 18th St NW. The MAA Headquarters will be on the left at 1529 18th St NW.

Walking: Head east on Woodley Rd NW toward Connecticut Avenue NW. Turn right onto Connecticut Avenue NW. Walk 0.2 miles and turn left onto Calvert Street NW. Walk 0.1 miles and turn right onto Biltmore Street NW. Walk 0.1 miles and turn right onto 19th Street NW. Walk 0.8 miles and turn left onto Q Street NW. Turn right onto 18th Street NW. The MAA Headquarters will be on the left at 1529 18th St NW.
