Many individuals have an interest in mathematics, yet their focus is not at the college level, or they are simply math enthusiasts. The Associate membership strives to meet their needs.

Recommended for:

• High school and middle school teachers.
• Individuals wanting to stay connected to mathematics, even though they may not be professors, teachers, or professional mathematicians.

Membership Qualifications:

• This membership level is tailored to meet the needs of secondary school teachers and those who enjoy mathematics just for the fun of it.
• This level of membership is not available to those teaching at the college level.

Format:

• Available in print format.
• Memberships are for 12 months and begin immediately upon ordering.

• Subscription to Math Horizons magazine
• Automatic membership in a Geographical Section (US and Canada only)
• Optional membership in any of the twelve Special Interest Groups (SIGMAA)
