MAA Announces the 2013 MAA T-Shirt Contest
Have you always wanted to see a certain mathematical
image or solution printed on a t-shirt? This is your chance to make it happen!
Put your mathematical creativity to work and submit your idea for a t-shirt that will debut
at MAA MathFest 2013, July 31 - August 3 in Hartford, CT!
The Rules:
- All entries must be submitted by an MAA Member.
- Must be an original design.
- Design must be mathematical in nature.
- Design must be one-sided.
- Design must be limited to four colors or less.
- Must be easy to reproduce on a colored t-shirt.
- All submissions must be PDF, word doc, or a jpg.
- Does not need to be professionally designed.
- Have fun!
Winner will receive bragging rights for a year, two of the designed t-shirts, and recognition at MAA MathFest 2013, on the MAA website, and in MAA FOCUS newsmagazine!
Designs submitted by April 25, 2013 will be judged by a small committee of mathematicians and MAA Staff.
Are you a professor or teacher? Feel free to use this as a great exersise for your students. When entering student submissions, be sure to include your name and MAA membership ID with all entries.
All entries must include the designer's name, affiliation, e-mail address and mailing address. Submit your ideas and questions to Madeline Palmer.
