MAA launches $7 million Second Century Campaign

The Second Century Campaign is a comprehensive effort to support MAA’s vision and priorities.  This five-year, $7 million philanthropic campaign officially began on January 1, 2012 and was publicly launched at MathFest in Portland, Oregon on August 8, 2014.  To date, $3.5 million has been raised toward this goal.

“This campaign will support MAA’s strategic plan that was unanimously adopted by the Executive Committee in 2012,” says MAA President, Bob Devaney.   “The plan is an investment in our vision, developed over our first century, of being the leading professional association in collegiate mathematics, the preeminent publisher of expository mathematics, the primary source of professional development programs for faculty, and the number one provider of resources for teaching and learning.

“We thank all who are bringing that vision to reality, and encourage you to help sustain the momentum of the Second Century Campaign by making a gift today.”

When the MAA community puts its weight behind the effort to reach our Second Century Campaign goals, there is no limit to increasing the impact of our work over the next 100 years.  Join our members, program alumni, individual and organizational friends, corporations, foundations, and program partners.
