AWM's Ruth Charney on Engaging More Women in Mathematics

The Christian Science Monitor talked to Ruth Charney, president of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), about ways to get more girls into math.

Charney recommended Math Circles, summer programs, Numberphile videos, and making mathematics more about problem-solving and collaboration than calculation and competition.
