"How I Met Your Mather" Takes Math-O-Vision Top Honors

The winners of the 2014 Math-O-Vision short video contest have been announced.

Sponsored by the Dartmouth College Math Department and the Neukom Institute for Computational Science, Math-O-Vision encourages high school students to create four-minute videos that "explore the ways math appears in our world, in technology, nature, and the arts."

This year's winners include the mock-romance "How I Met Your Mather," a GPS explainer delivered by an expressive child with pigtails, and the saga of a prom proposal gone wrong.
