The VIEWPOINTS facilitators are Annalisa Crannell of Franklin & Marshall College, and Marc Frantz of Indiana University. With the support of the National Science Foundation-funded Mathematics Throughout the Curriculum project at Indiana University, Crannell and Frantz have developed and taught courses in Mathematics and Art at their respective institutions.
In the VIEWPOINTS workshops, they lead participants through a series of enjoyable, classroom-tested, hands-on activities distilled from their experiences. In addition, participants receive materials that will enable them to present Math & Art lessons to their students, either as single projects, or semester-long courses.
