2010 PREP Travel Grant Application Guideleines

Travel funds are available for a limited number of individuals or teams who demonstrate a strong commitment to applying what they learn in the PREP workshop. Individuals or teams funded must agree, if selected, to share their work by presenting a poster at the 2011 Joint Mathematics Meetings. To request travel funding, please submit the following items to the MAA:

  1. A travel budget with estimated transportation costs.
  2. A description of the planned follow-up to the workshop: How will the PREP workshop be used to further your own professional development or to initiate change at your institution? Describe the impact that the program will have on your curriculum, your classroom, or your research.
  3. A letter from your department head or dean, pledging institutional support for the changes described above.
