Lessons on Probability

Math Goodies has a series of nine lessons on elementary probability. Each lesson has the same basic format: the definitions are given followed by a number of examples, mostly involving cards, dice, spinners, selecting marbles from a jar, and other experiments involving sampling from a finite population. After the examples, the student is presented with a number of multiple choice exercises. After making a choice in an exercise, the student is given immediate feedback that the answer is correct or incorrect. The lessons are generally well done, but perhaps overly simple since the probability models all deal with equally likely outcomes in a finite sample space. Also the site is cluttered a bit with banner ads. In addition to the lessons, the site has a couple of extra sections with additional exercises.
