Leading the Academic Department will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and end at noon on Sunday. Lodging for Thursday - Saturday nights and meals (except dinner on Saturday evening) are included in the registration fee ($1000 by May 5, $1250 after).

Originally a 1906 Beaux Arts-style apartment building, The Churchill Hotel is located in Washington, DC's Embassy Row neighborhood near Dupont Circle and is easily accessible via the DC subway (Metro) system. Breakfast will be served each day in the Churchill’s restaurant. All other meals provided as part of the workshop will be served at the Carriage House.

Check-in is scheduled for June 19th. Check-out is June 22nd. On check-in, participants will be expected to present a credit card for incidentals only. The cost of the room and breakfast will be billed directly to the MAA. Please do not contact the hotel directly regarding reservations; all arrangements will be through a housing list managed by MAA staff.
