All mathematics departments face the challenges of developing their students’ ability to prove theorems on their own and helping students understand that they can create mathematics. Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) courses can help to solve these perennial problems. Workshop participants who are experienced IBL users and those new to IBL should both be fully prepared to present effective IBL style courses after the workshop. Participants will be connected to a mentoring support system to help them as they implement these ideas in their own institutions. Travel and registration grants are available.

This workshop is being supported by an NSF CCLI grant.
