Project ACCCESS
Advancing Community College Careers: Education, Scholarship, Service
Project ACCCESS is a mentoring and professional development initiative for mathematics faculty in two-year colleges. The goal is to provide experiences that will help new faculty become more effective teachers and active members of the mathematical community.
Originally conceived and run as a joint project of the MAA and the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC), with funding from the ExxonMobil Foundation, Project ACCCESS is now wholly administered by AMATYC. The MAA continues to engage ACCCESS fellows through Section meetings and targeted outreach. At their local MAA Section meetings, fellows have joined in Section NExT activities as well as the regular meetings.
