Welcome
to Project WELCOME site...
Launched
in May, 2000, with the support of NSF, under the sponsorship of the Mathematical
Association of America, Project WELCOME recruited 8 faculty at HBCUs, developed
a new web technology and taught it to them so that they could develop web
based mathematics course materials at their schools, and share those materials
with other schools.
Project
WELCOME brings together elements of three MAA program themes: academic technology,
professional development, and promoting involvement of historically under-represented
groups.
