This collection of mathlets comprise a companion for modeling assignments (primarily for calculus) designed to give students hands-on experience describing motion as a combination of basic functions.

In each case, a scenario is described in the containing html file, and the student is invited to experiment with values of a parameter set in order to achieve specific goals in the form of a traced parametric curve.  The student should try (with appropraite graphics device or software) to find a mathematical model for the parametric curves.

These mathlets run in any browser with the free Flash player  plugin installed.
