This applet allows the user to evaluate mathematical expressions. A mathematical expression is made of numbers, variables, built-in and user defined functions together with operations for algebra and calculus. For more detailed information on how to use this applet, look under "Help Topics" on the main applet page.

INTENDED USES:

This applet is intended to be used as a (limited) computer algebra system. It allows the user to manipulate mathematical expressions. It can handle symbolic differentiation and limited symbolic integration.

Browsers: Should work with a generic browser

Plugins: Java

Operating Systems: Linux or other *NIX flavors, Windows 95+
