This site consists of a group of interactive Flash movies designed to teach introductory statistics students how to use their calculators so that class time can be spent focusing on concepts. Each Flash movie monitors what the students are typing and, if they go wrong, tells them immediately and forces them to restart. The calculator shown closely emulates a TI-30Xa, which is being used due to the large number of students who have little familiarity with calculator technology.

INTENDED USES:

Introductory statistics classes for non-majors where the students have little or no calculator backgrounds.

SOFTWARE SPECIFICATIONS:

Plugins: Flash player
Operating Systems: Mac or Windows
