The College Mathematics Journal

The College Mathematics Journal

The College Mathematics Journal is designed to enhance classroom learning and stimulate thinking regarding undergraduate mathematics. It publishes articles, short Classroom Capsules, problems, solutions, media reviews and other pieces. All are aimed at the college mathematics curriculum with emphasis on topics taught in the first two years.

Mathematics Magazine

Mathematics Magazine

Mathematics Magazine offers lively, readable, and appealing exposition on a wide range of mathematical topics.

Please submit new manuscripts by email to Editor Walter Stromquist at mathmag@mathematicsmagazine.org . A brief message with an attached PDF file is preferred. Word processor and DVI files can also be considered. More submission information.

Abstracts
Once an article has been accepted for publication an abstract must be provided. An abstract summarizes the principal techniques and conclusions of the manuscript. Because the abstract must be able to stand independently, mathematical formulas and bibliographic references should be kept to a minimum.

Alternatively, manuscripts may be mailed to:

Mathematics Magazine
132 Bodine Rd.
Berwyn, PA 19312-1027

If possible, please include an email address for further correspondence.

Math Horizons

Math Horizons

Manuscripts may be submitted electronically to Editor-elect David Richeson (mathhorizons@maa.org). The preferred electronic form is an MS Word document. Text files and LaTeX submissions are also acceptable.

If submitting by mail, please send a hard copy to:

David Richeson
Department of Mathematics and Computer Science
Dickinson College
P.O. Box 1773
Carlisle, PA 17013-2896.

MAA FOCUS

MAA Focus

MAA FOCUS is the news magazine of the MAA. It contains information about MAA activities, news about mathematics and the mathematical community, and lively articles about interesting new (or sometimes not so new) ideas in mathematics, mathematics education, and related areas. It is published six times a year and is received by all members of the MAA.

The best way to submit your article or news item is as an email attachment. Send to Lois Baron at lbaron@maa.org. More submission information.

Loci

Loci

Loci is MAA's online publication, specializing in expository articles which take advantage of hyperlinks and interactivity.  Additional areas within Loci specialize in classroom materials (Resources) and the use of the history of mathematics in teaching (Convergence).

The preferred method of submission is for the author to post the materials (typically HTML or XHTML with embedded content, such as images, scripts, applets, MathML, or SVG) on an unrestricted web site, and then contact the editors by e-mail. (Full list of Loci Editors)
