in the meeting program. A list of exhibitors with contact information
and brief abstracts will be prepared and available at the Poster Session.
The absolute deadline set by MAA is December 9, 2003, but applicants
to this session are requested to send abstracts by November 15.
Space is limited, and there is no guarantee that all suitable submissions
can be accommodated. Applicants who submit abstracts on or before
November 15 will be notified very soon after the submission about
the status of their application. This will be done to allow appropriate
time for travel plans.
Presenters may wish to bring 25-50 copies of more detailed accounts
to hand out to interested parties. Presenters may also wish to bring
blank stick-on mailing labels and ask those interested in more materials
to sign up on the mailing labels.
Equipment provided: Tables (6'x18") are provided in the
room setup. The Meetings and Conferences Department of the AMS will
supply self-standing table top posters which are 48" wide and 36"
high and are trifold. Exhibitors should have material prepared in advance.
The room will be open for setup one hour in advance of the scheduled
session. Materials must be removed immediately after the close of the
session. "Spray Mount," which can be used to paste photos,
paper, etc. to the poster, will be available.
Other equipment: Any equipment (computers, display devices,
etc) other than tables and table-top posters must be provided by exhibitors.
Power strips may be available if arrangements are made in advance by
indicating the need for electrical connections when the abstract is
submitted.
