Fest 2008
In August 2008, students and faculty will
converge on
Madison, WI for MathFest.
Students will be invited to present talks
in the MAA Student Paper Sessions, the MAA Lecture for Undergraduate
Students (given by Dr. Laura Taalman of James Madison University), and
to two parallel Undergraduate Student Activities. Please put
the Lecture for Undergraduates and one of the Activity Sessions on your

2008
Joint Mathematics Meetings
In
January 2008, hundreds of students and
their advisors attended the Joint Mathematics Meetings
in San Diego, CA. They attended the MAA Lecture for Students by Brian
Conrey, visited the exhibit hall, and presented posters in the
Undergraduate Poster Session. Many students also presented
talks in the
AMS-MAA-SIAM Special Session on Research in Mathematics by
Undergraduates.
