MAA Found Math 2011 - Week 37

MAA Found Math: Dean Gooch (Santa Rosa Junior College) took this photo of the façade of the New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco, California. He wrote in an email, "The fellow seems to be puzzling over a sum. There are several other sculptures on this building depicting writers, physicists and the like.
