Math and Science Partnerships (MSP) program

The National Science Foundation has just released the program solicitation for the Math and Science Partnerships (MSP) program. This is a major new initiative, managed by NSF's Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR). The program's goal is to improve mathematics and science teaching at the K-12 level through collaborations between schools and institutions of higher education. The NSF expects to fund both wide-ranging, comprehensive programs and smaller focused programs.

The NSF solicitation includes full information on MSP, including a description of the program, eligibility requirements, types of awards that are anticipated, and information on proposal submission, content, and format. The solicitation may be found at http://www.nsf.gov/cgi-bin/getpub?nsf02061.
