November 8 Event: Mathemagic with a Deck of Cards

The American University Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Mathematical Association of America are sponsoring an evening of mystery, magic and mathematics—tricks and treats, organizers promise—at American University from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 8.

Renowned mathemagician Colm Mulcahy will delight and astound attendees with card tricks before signing copies of his new book. Refreshments will be provided.
