Sherry won a silver medal at the 2005 IMO in Merida, Mexico for the US Team. She competed at the IMO in 2004 for Puerto Rico and received a silver medal. She placed 12th nationally in the Geography Bee in 2002 and was a member of the 2005 and 2006 USA Physics Olympiad Team receiving a silver medal in last year's competition. She was designated the Clay Mathematics Institute Olympiad Scholar in 2005. She likes computer programming, geography and enjoys reading. She credits her Dad, Professor Li and Dr. Zuming Feng for influencing her interest in mathematics and in pursuing her live of competition. She will be attending Harvard University in the fall. |

This is Brian's third year as the 1st place winner of the USAMO. He received a perfect score a the IMO in Merida, Mexico in 2005. He plays the cello and enjoys learning foreign languages such as Chinese, Spanish and Latin. This year, he was a finalist in the Intel Science Talent Search. His parents have been the major influence in his mathematical interest and successes. He will be attending Cal Tech this fall. |

Tedrick received an honorable mention on the APMO in 2005, tied for 1st in the National Division on the Mandelbrot competition, and qualified for the USAMO three years in a row with a perfect AIME score this year. He received the top score nationally in the AMATYC Math Contest. In 8th grade, he had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Richar Ruscyzk, Director and CEO of Art of Problem Solving, who guided and mentored him. In his spare time Tedrick enjoys playing chess, bridge, and sudoku. He will be attending MIT in the fall. |

Arnav is a Presidential Scholar, a National Merit Scholar, and the recipient of a gold medal at last year's IMO in Slovenia. This year, he was selected to USA Today's All-USA Academic First Team. In 2006, he placed 1st in the Mandelbrot Math Competition, 1st at the Duke University Math Tournament, 2nd in the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament, and was selected to the U.S. Physics Team. As an accomplished pianist, he has placed 1st in the 2002 Chapel Hill Philharmonia Concerto Competition, and 1st in the 2004 North Carolina Symphony Concerto Competition. He credits two former teachers, Mr. John Goebel and Mr. Bud Stuart, for their inspiration and leadership. He will be attending Harvard this fall. |
