Potential Theory

See our review of the first edition. The major change for the second edition is the inclusion of exercises:

…exercises have been added. Most of the exercises are of a kind that a student might encounter in an advanced calculus course. I recall having solved some of the exercises in a second-year Physics course taught by Prof. Ernst Ising who proclaimed in class “I will teach you all the calculus you need to know.” (p. ix)

The exercises are concentrated in the earlier chapters, especially chapters 2 and 3, as can be seen from the table of contents.
