This is a collection of eight research papers that grew out of presentations at the 2019 British Combinatorics Conference. As the field of combinatorics is vast, the title of the book does not reveal much about its content. It turns out that the book has a strong focus on graph theory, which, of course, is a huge field itself. For six of the eight papers, graphs are the main objects to study, and a seventh one, by Iain Moffatt, discusses Delta-matroids by building them up from topological graph theory. The last paper, by Hendrik Van Maldeghem and Magali Victoor, is different as its focus is in Finite Geometries.

The six graph theory papers all have some connections to some other field, like complexity theory, cryptography, or extremal combinatorics. Potential readers who are interested in graph theory are encouraged to consult the table of contents as there is a decent chance that they will find an article they would like to read.

Miklós Bóna is a Professor and Distinguished Teaching Scholar at the University of Florida, and the author and editor of several books. His main research interest is Enumerative Combinatorics.
