Mathematical Treasure: A Paper of Albert Einstein

Author(s):
Frank J. Swetz (The Pennsylvania State University)

Amongst the many writings of Albert Einstein (1879-1955) is this small paper published by the Berlin Academy of Science in 1928. The translation of the title into English is Riemannian Geometry with Preservation of the Concept of Distant Parallelism. Riemannian geometry provides the setting for general relativity and in this paper, Einstein affirmed his concepts of unified field theory.
