Mathematical Treasure: Commandino's Elements of Euclid

Federico Commandino (1509-1575) was an Italian physician, humanist and mathematician best known for his translations of classical Greek mathematical works into Latin. In 1572, he published his influential translation of Euclid’s Elements.
