Mathematical Treasure: Davison's New System of Arithmetic

Little is known of John Davison other than that he described himself as a London schoolmaster. His New System of Arithmetic, published in 1780, contains a “Geographical Table” most probably to accommodate the trade and commercial interests of its users.
