Mathematical Treasure: Heilbronner's History of Mathematics

Johann Christoph Heilbronner (1706–1747) was a German historian of mathematics. He is the first author known to use the phrase “Geschichte der Mathematik” (“history of mathematics”) in his writings. His most complete history, Historia Matheseos Universae, was published in 1742.
