Mathematical Treasure: Matthias Bernegger's Mathematical Manual of Tables

Matthias Bernegger (1582–1640) of Strasbourg corresponded with scientists such as Johannes Kepler and Wilhelm Schickard, translated works by Galileo, and prepared this 1619 3-volume Manuale mathematicum, darinn begriffen die tabulae sinuum, tangentiũ, secantium. . . . Note that he wrote in German.

The book provides tables of sines, tangents, secants, squares, and cubics, among other instructional material for surveyors and lovers of mathematics.
