Bernhard Riemann (1826-1866) was a talented and versatile German mathematician who made several valuable contributions to the development of 19th century mathematics. In 1876, a volume of his collected works, Gesammelte Mathematische Werke, was published.

The listing of Riemann’s papers in the “Table of Contents” testifies to the wide scope of his mathematical impact.
