Mathematical Treasure: Sophus Lie’s Collected Papers

Sophus Lie (1842-1899), of Lie group and Lie algebra fame, was a Norwegian mathematician who worked on transformation groups and differential equations. The first volume of his Gesammelte Abhandlungen (Collected Papers) was published in 1934.
