This lab gives students practice collecting and analyzing Poisson distributed data. The lab simulates the classic problem found in many statistics and probability texts dealing with the modeling of V2 bomb hits on London during World War II.
Intended Uses:
Class exercise or extended project
Appropriate Courses:
Probability or statistics course that covers Poisson density
Software Specifications:
Consists of a stand-alone executable Shockwave "projector" file that can be downloaded and run offline in any Windows or Mac OS
