Google Donates $1 Million Grant for Math Programs

Google announced earlier this week that it is giving a $1 million grant to the Mountain View Whisman school district to support mathematics.
District Associate Superintendent Mary Lairon said the money will be used to implement effective new teaching methods by DataWorks Educational Research, which has developed a strategy called "explicit direct instruction."
