What’s Taking E.T. So Long to Find Us?

A recent article in Discovery News cited the work mathematician Thomas Hair (Florida Gulf Coast University) presented at the 2012 Joint Mathematics Meetings about human beings relationship with extraterrestrials.

“Mathematically speaking, ET would have found us by now—if he exists—so we’re being consciously avoided for some reason,” wrote Irene Klotz for Discovery News.

“We’re either alone, or they’re out there and leave us alone,” said Hair in the article.
