This Friday, March 11, MAA Past President David Bressoud will testify before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, and Science, in support of President Obama's 2012 budget request for the National Science Foundation. Read David Bressoud's testimony here.

Math Teachers' Circles

Math Teachers' Circles can be powerful vehicles for engaging middle school teachers in authentic mathematical experiences that will ultimately impact their understanding and teaching of mathematics. The American Institute of Mathematics (AIM) announces two workshops for teams of mathematicians and teachers who are interested in organizing their own Math Teachers' Circle. Applications for 2011-2012 Project NExT Fellows are now being accepted

14th Annual Legacy of R.L. Moore Conference, Washington DC, 2-4 June 2011
