Legal & Liability Support for Section Officers

The activities that section officers conduct in fulfilling their respective roles as officers of a section are covered under the Directors and Officers insurance policy maintained by the MAA. If any officer of a section has a question about the nature of this coverage, please contact the appropriate staff representative at the MAA Headquarters office. Notification to the appropriate MAA officer or staff member must be undertaken before a section pursues any activity that may involve any legal action or that may result in legal action from another person or entity.
