Rodrigo Camorano or Zamorano (1542-1623) was a Spanish mathematician and navigator. In 1576, he published the first Spanish translation of Euclid: Los seis libros primeros dela geometria de Euclides. Translating directly from the Greek edition, Camorano prepared the book for navigation students in Sevilla (Seville).

Folio 12v begins the instruction with “Problem one, proposition one.”
