Mathematical Treasure: Lebesgue on Integration

Henri Lebesgue (1875-1941) was a French mathematician and Professor of Mathematics at the Collège de France. He is remembered mainly for his system of integration. The title page for his 1904 monograph on integration, Leçons sur l'intégration et la recherche des fonctions primitives (Lectures on Integration and Research on Primitive Functions), is shown here:
